RPG holds a special place in Josh’s heart. It originally stood for 'Rum Propelled Gaming,' a lighthearted term coined by Josh and his friends as they embarked on their weekly Dungeons & Dragons adventures in 2020. They continue to do so even now, and you can join them on their ADVENTURE via their Podcast “Metagaming.”
While RPG also commonly refers to 'Role-Playing Game,' which accurately describes the genre of D&D, its deeper meaning for Josh lies in its ability to symbolize the adventure and imagination that fuels our lives, much like the rugged beauty of the Appalachian foothills where the distillery resides.
To honor this layered significance, Josh named my distilling machine 'Dragon.' This nod to both the Chinese Zodiac and the mythical creatures they chase in their D&D campaigns serves as a constant reminder of the magic and mystery that can be found in every aspect of life, and every bottle from RPG-Distilling.
